At Golden Rule Puppies, we raise exceptional AKC Golden Retrievers with integrity, compassion, and purpose. Nestled on our Kentucky family farm, every puppy is lovingly nurtured through natural, thoughtful care, quality nutrition, and intentional socialization. Inspired by the Golden Rule, we believe every puppy—and every family—deserves to be treated with kindness, honesty, and respect. Our hope is to place healthy, well-loved companions into homes where they will be treasured for generations.

Meet the Breeder

Golden Rule Puppies began with a little boy’s dream.

When Gabriela’s son, Peter, was young, he dreamed of someday living on a farm filled with Golden Retrievers. He loved their gentle hearts, loyal nature, and the special way they make people feel safe and loved. What started as a childhood dream slowly became a dream shared by the whole family—and, in time, Golden Rule Puppies was born.

For Gabriela, Golden Retrievers are unlike any other dog. They are joyful, patient, affectionate, and deeply connected to their people. They bring comfort during difficult moments, laughter into ordinary days, and a kind of unconditional love that makes a house feel more like home.

With more than 20 years of experience with Golden Retrievers, Gabriela lovingly raises each puppy on her family farm in Verona, Kentucky. Every puppy is held, nurtured, trained, and prepared for family life with the same care she would want for one of her own.

For Gabriela and her family, this is much more than a business. It is the fulfillment of a little boy’s dream and the privilege of helping other families find the Golden Retriever who will become part of their own story.

At Golden Rule Puppies, Gabriela is the heart of this farm, but she could not do it with excellence without the help of her family & friends…

What Sets Us Apart

Intentional Nutrition

Our puppies receive quality kibble along with probiotics, goat milk, and pumpkin powder to support their nutrition, digestion, and healthy development.

We feed our puppies Purina Pro Plan High Protein Puppy Food: Shedded Blend Chicken &Rice Formula.

By Vet Recommendation

Your puppy will go home with:

AKC paperwork

Health certificate and health records

Early Training

Every puppy participates in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). Music therapy is also included in their daily routine.

Before going home, our puppies begin learning to:

* Sleep through the night
* Use a potty tray
* Eat kibble from their own individual dish
* Sit calmly for attention
* Respond to recall
* Feel comfortable being handled and groomed

How are the puppies socialized?

Our puppies are gently introduced to various everyday sounds and experiences, including city noises, farm animals, thunderstorms, fireworks, grooming, and regular handling.

Beautiful Environment

Every Puppy gets lots of mama time in their new room! Their pens are cleaned 3 to 4 times a day.

They get to play on the beautiful Golden Ranch and have plenty of exposure to other Golden Retrievers.

Your Questions, Answered

How much does a puppy cost?

Our puppies are $1,500. A 50% deposit reserves your puppy, and the remaining balance is due on pickup day. Cash is preferred.

Are your puppies eligible for AKC Registration?

Yes. Our puppies come from a long lineage of AKC-registered parents and are eligible for AKC registration. All necessary AKC paperwork is provided.

What healthcare is provided?

Each puppy goes home with a health certificate and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Microchipping is available upon request.
